Financial Accountant Wanted!
Kendrick Recruitment is on the lookout for a detail-loving, spreadsheet-wielding Financial Accountant to join a dynamic private lending company based in Cape Town! This isn’t just any finance role – this is the chance to work directly alongside a Financial Manager, handling the full accounting function for a cutting-edge group and offering direct financial admin support to the Director. What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Bank and Cash:
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow projections that keep everything running smoothly!
2. Debtors & Creditors:
- Manage account reconciliations, payments, and resolve queries with ease.
3. Monthly Mastery:
- VAT & PAYE submissions, compliance, and reconciling balance sheets like a pro.
4. Payroll Whiz:
- Process payroll submissions, manage EMP201 & EMP501 recons, and get involved in annual IRP5 submissions.
5. Reporting Genius:
- Compile monthly management reports, track budgets, and be the go-to for annual audit prep.
What You Bring:
- Education: SAIPA articles completed or a B.Comm in accounting (or similar)
- Experience: 3-5 years in accounts with advanced Excel skills (tested!)
- Systems Knowledge: Xero and Sage Payroll are a plus, but solid understanding of accounting principles is key.
